Unity Rainbow Refugees Organization (URR) is honored to announce its participation in the Human Rights Training for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) – 2025 Cycle. This invitation reflects the growing recognition of URR’s work in advocating for the rights, inclusion, and well-being of refugees, particularly those from marginalized and vulnerable groups. Through this program, URR aims to strengthen its capacity to protect human rights, promote peaceful coexistence, and provide better support to the refugee community.
As part of the training, URR representatives will engage with other CSOs, sharing experiences, learning best practices, and building strategic partnerships. The sessions will cover key areas such as advocacy, human rights frameworks, community engagement, and the protection of vulnerable populations. By participating, URR will be better equipped to implement programs that foster inclusion, empowerment, and resilience among refugees.
This initiative complements URR’s ongoing programs, including its “I Can Make It!” Empowerment Program, which focuses on building self-confidence, resilience, and positive self-identity among participants. Together, these programs aim to enable refugees to believe in their abilities, stand against discrimination, and actively contribute to their communities.
URR is committed to leveraging the knowledge and networks gained through this training to expand its impact and strengthen support systems for refugees. By combining capacity building, empowerment programs, and strategic partnerships, URR continues to work toward a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all refugees in Rwanda and beyond.
